Here's the details...

In order to enter for a chance to win please visit the Graham Combat Facebook page.  You must "like" and "share" the Graham Combat "Great Graham Combat Giveaway" Sweepstakes posting.

If we're able to generate over 2,500 "likes" and "shares" we'll be picking one random winner for the Great Graham Combat Giveaway!  Sweepstakes ends September 1st, 2013.  We reserve the right to cancel the sweepstakes at any time.  There is no cash value of the prize.  Winner's must claim the prize in person and meet all eligibility requirements for firearms training.  The winner can choose either east coast training September 20-22, 2013 or the west coast training dates October 4-6, 2013.

I've been working on getting some civilian training dates for 2013 added to the already busy schedule (GCTC trains non-civilians 200 days a year) and the good news is: we have 'em!

The following are dates and basic course descriptions for the remainder of 2013:

Combative Shotgun - Functional Defense
This one day (10 hour) shotgun course provides a comprehensive introduction to the functional operational and defensive characteristics of the shotgun.

This course is geared for people who want a better understanding of the defensive application of the shotgun and who want to build proficiency in the functional application and operation of the weapon.

This course will cover all of the loading, unloading, function, malfunction, marksmanship, ballistics, and ammunition selection that pertain to the defensive shotgun.  In addition, you will learn the most efficient ways to employ the shotgun functionally in a defensive environment, including: platform, presentation, basic and intermediate firing positions, shooting on the move, shooting through mediums, fighting while wounded, precision shooting applications, low and reduced light operations, and vehicle and structure based defensive considerations.

Any type of functional shotgun is appropriate for this course: fight with what you carry.  Ammunition needs are: 200 birdshot, 50 buckshot, and 50 slug.  Standard or reduced loads are acceptable.

Combative Pistol & Carbine - Functional Defense
This is the industry gold standard. Period.

This three day (32+ hour) pistol and carbine course provides a comprehensive opportunity to excel at the functional operational and defensive application of the pistol and carbine.

I have taken the "standard" three day Graham Combat pistol & carbine course and expanded it to include force-on-force validations for both the pistol and the carbine, as well as live-fire validations of the same.

I believe in a sound set of tactical principles.  I teach the same. Students in any Graham Combat course will learn a decision making process that puts them in the best place to maintain and exploit a tactical and strategic advantage.  Our validations do just that: VALIDATE what you have learned BEFORE you leave the range.  We don't sell dreams...we give you hard skills. Students will undergo a minimum of  three stand-alone force-on-force validations to VERIFY to themselves that the principles support the tactics and strategies.  We want you to be effective gunfighters - ready for conflict - the moment you pass through the gate.

This three day 32+ hour pistol & carbine course is movement, vehicle, low light and medical-scenario intensive.  We will be conducting low light/no light evolutions during the evening/night of days 1& 2 - if you are uncomfortable moving and shooting in darkness please don't come.  We will also be doing full-contact close-quarters drills - if you are not physically able to run, move, strike, or be struck please don't come.

You will need a pistol & a carbine or sub gun, at least 3 magazines for each, a sturdy belt, holster, magazine pouches for both or kit and carbine sling, eye and ear protection, and at least 1000rds of ammunition for each weapon.
I believe you should FIGHT WITH WHAT YOU CARRY so bring the gear and equipment you use everyday.  Space is limited; spots are first come, first served.  To reserve your spot send payment via Paypal to sales@grahamcombat.com.  If paying via DOD CAGE CODE, Graham Combat's CAGE CODE is 5XSV5.  If paying via Purchase Order we need to hear from you PRIOR to the course.  Once registered you will receive a confirmation email from me confirming your slot in the course within 24 hours.

Shoot fast, hit first. -Matt
